C1 Community

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I create a new Silverlight app. Then references C1.Silverlight.dll.

I place a C1Combobox on the canvas. Run F5. As soon as I click on the combobox, the whole page becomes blank!!

Any ideas? 

The current version of our controls can only show popup content (like a combo list) when the root element is a canvas.

The default root element now is a Grid, which prevents our popups and combos from working correctly. I'm assuming that is the cause of the problem you describe...

This will be fixed in the next release of the controls.

Any idea on next scheduled release date?

We are planning to release an update at the end of this month, and new updates monthly after that, until the release date.

The next release will be very different from the current one. We are taking full advantage of Silverlight 2.0 (layout, styling, data-binding etc). We will remove controls that overlap with the ones offered by Microsoft, and add lots of cool new ones.
