    C1FlexGridClassic Upgrade to NetFrame 2.0

We are contemplating an upgrade to NetFrame 2.0 in our combined C#.Net and VB.Net application.  It uses C1FlexGridClassic with Visual Studio 2003 and Netframe 1.4.  The only ComponentOne software we are licensed to use is C1FlexGridClassic.  My questions are as follows:

    1)  The only download package for the proposed upgrade I could find on your website was C1flexgrid-2.5.20061.233.msi  Is this the right one?  It is described as containing C1FlexGrid with no mention of "classic".  It may contain classic as well.  However, as it is an install package, I do not wish to risk a foray into unlicensed limbo.

    2) We are inclined to blast by Visual Studio 2005 and go straight to Visual Studio 2008 which we have been told has the ability to access all the various Netframe versions.  In your opinion, is that a good idea?

    Thanks,

    Tom Stevens

    Hi Tom,

    1. The latest download on the website has both C1FlexGridClassic and also C1FlexGrid; once licensed you can use both of them. However you will need to be careful whether your license is valid for the latest version or not; else you may end up getting a license screen. For this I would request you to get in touch with Componentone Support for the verification of your license key.

    2. I will suggest you to try out both the version as VS2005 and VS2008 are both flexible enough and has backward compatibility to some extent too.

    Regards,
    Gary.
