    Problems when using Crossreferences

    I am trying to use my old Doc-files which were successfully used in Previous verion 2000 of doctohelp.

    The word document includes equation with numbers that have been included by using MathType.

    My using mathtype and word I can also publish web page with correct reference numbers.

    The problem is that DocToHelp seems to be unable to use cross references like below:

    {GOTOBUTTON ZEqnNum608192  * MERGEFORMAT{\* ZEqnNum608192 \* Charformat \!\* MERGEFORMAT}}

    The results is no text in the resulting chm file.

    An empty space is the only remains from the view.

    if I make the target as Manual i find a new word file with the following

    {...... HYPERLINK ""\l"_d2h_bmk_ZEqnNum608192_84}: or in when not showing field codes _D2HLINK_116

    Obviously DocToHelp can not resolve the type to crossrefence with an equationnumber as shown above.

    I do not expect anything wrong with MathType but the interactions with the Add_ins from mathType is not working

    when run from the DocToHelp  frame.

    A also notice that I the system crash without giving any error message and this problem may be connected

    to crossreferences as produced from mathtype.  I believe that MathType is very frequently used as a professional

    equation editor to MS Word so I expect a solution on this
