    Skewed Viewing Once More

    Version 2.0.20073.42109

I have a customer whose preview or printouts are "... coming out at 1/100 scale and are not readable and are on the top of the page only."

This customer is using a HP Business Inkjet 1200 series and a HP Design Jet 500 42.

Any idea to what may be the cause such as the printers themselves?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

There is no such known issue with C1PrintPreview control. I would suggest you to try to run your application on some other machine and see if the issue is reproducible. If it works fine on other machine(s) then match the configuration and settings of machines and see if this works.

If the issue still persists then provide me with a stripped down sample and steps to replicate the issue.

    Regards,
    John Adams

    Re: Skewed Viewing Once More

It was an issue in the recent past, as in less than a year ago.  The issue was thought to be cleared up, but it popped its ugly head again.  Our application is run on multiple machines and not every one has this problem.  In fact currently, we only know of one on this new issue.  This does not include those that have not reported this problem to us.

As for providing samples; I can not provide one because I am unable to duplicate it.  In the past we have found corrections to this problem by having the user delete their printers and re-add them or update printer drivers.  Since this was an issue in the past and was solved, I thought you could review what was done previously and see if anything could be tweaked.  I know without the ability to duplicate the problem it is just about impossible especially without any crash report.

    Which version are you using?

If it is not the latest available, try the latest please.

What are the printers (printer drivers) available on the systems that show the problem?

What are those systems (W2K, XP, Vista, ?)

How consistent is the problem on those systems that do display it?

Finally, on systems that do show this problem - does it go away if all printers are deleted and re-added?

    Cheers,
    Dima.

    Hi Dima,

     The version is 2.0.20073.42109.

HP Business Inkjet 1200 series and a HP Design Jet 500 42

    XP

    It is a continuous problems.

The deleting and re-adding printers are not working on this one.

Again, this is another issue where I can not duplicate or create a sample for you to try.  Like the others, not everyone has this issue.

If at all possible, please make a private build of your app for this user, with the latest version of preview, and see if the problem persists.

    Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Dima.
