    Overall error

     Hello,

    I use  .net compontents 2.0

First of all when I change a program that was created with a previous vesion of the comonent one flexgrid, the program stops without an error.

I last ipdated a month ago with studio live update. Ok. I want to remake my form using the updated components and when I want to add a C1 dockingtab I get the following error.

"Failed to create component 'C1Dockingtab'. The error message follows :
System.runtime.interopservices.comexception (0x8004D745) : a reference to the component 'C1.Win.C1Command.2'  already exists in the project.
    ........

What is the prolem here ???

An Update and I can't change old project anymore !!!!

    Re: Overall error

That error is common when you add a control which is already included in an assembly with a different version being referenced in your project.  C1DockingTab is part of C1.Win.C1Command.  The easiest way around this is to remove your existing reference to C1.Win.C1Command (Solution Explorer/References). And then you should be able to add a new C1DockingTab to the form.  This will add a new reference to C1.Win.C1Command which is necessary if your form already had other C1Command controls on it.

    Hope it helps,
    Greg

     Ok, thanks for the response

Now I managed to use the updated (last) flexgrid. But when I debug and the program goes through that line :

            Grid1.Subtotal(AggregateEnum.Sum, -1, -1, totalOn, "Grand total")

The program stops without an error.

    Strange !!!!

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I buy a product, I start develop programs with the product. Everything goes well. I update the product. I want to change something in my program I've made with the old product. And the program stops at the line I've mentionent earlier. why? Because he uses the new updated product ??

OK but why stopping the program without error??

And nobody of the Comonent guys (where I BOUGHT the product) has an aswer or something ????
