I am currently using web chart version 2.0.20061 in VS2005 for Framework 2.0.  I would like to install VS2008 and use the web chart in Framework 3.5 project.  Will the version that I have work in VS2008 for Framework 3.5?  Will it work in VS2008 if I keep the web projects in Framework 2.0?

The web chart should work in VS2008 if you keep the project as a .Net 2.0 project.  However, be aware that there is a known issue in VS2008 that impacts all components using license.licx files (not just C1). There is a simple fix here: http://helpcentral.componentone.com/Article.aspx?ID=1912

Thank you for the reply.  I anticipated that this version of the control would work in VS2008 on a Framework 2.0 project.  From the Heros Happen Microsoft presentation, Framework 3.0 and 3.5 were built on Framework 2.0 which allows VS2008 to toggle between Framework versions (unlike versions 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0).  If possible, I would like to use this version of web chart in a 3.5 project.  Could this version work on a Framework 3.0 or 3.5 project?

The WebChart control should work in a .NET 3.5 application but I can't say for sure. We are currently testing against .NET 3.5 for our 2008v2 release in June.
