Custom help for Excel/VBA using D2H6

    Paul,

I've been posting in the D2H forum w/o many replies. Thought you might be interested in my probs since D2H6 was the first Component1 release. Actually, I got it as an update for the Wextex help a long time ago, but since I'm now retired and not doing this for pay I can't justify upgrading.

The current problem is the custom help (.chm) works just fine whin I click on it in Windows Explorer, but not when integrated in my Excel/VBA add-in. Specifically, the topics and TOC work, but I get the Microsoft Excel index when launched from my Excel/VBA code. Another bit of strangeness is for a while I had it working OK in the Excel/VBA. Then it suddenly started this strange behavior after I made some minor changes. I notice that the Help Context IDs changed in the HelpContext.bas file.

Any suggestions you can make would be appreciated.

Sorry, I just saw your message. Frankly, I'm not sure what is causing the problem. I would think it is the way you are calling the file with the VBA but I'm not sure what changes would have caused it work once and not now. I would review the methods you are using to call the .chm.

Not much help from me . . .
