    Hi ,

It writes "1152:Error extracting C:\Doc......Temp Studio?for ASP.NET2.0.msi to the temporany location"

I tried many computers, they all have the same problem, what's wrong and how can I do?

    Re: Install's Problem

     Hi mill008,

Are you trying to install the same setup file on each machine? This error could occur if you did not get a complete download of the setup file.

It is also possible that you do not have enough disk space to run the installer properly - please verify that you have plenty of room on your drive.

Also, do you have Visual Studio 2005 installed on your machine? This will be required to run the setup file correctly.

If you are still running into problems, I would recommend contacting our support team directly. You can send email to support@componentone.com, use the web submission form at http://www.componentone.com/mysupport or call (412) 681-4738.

    Thanks!

    Re: Install's Problem

     Hi all,

If you have VS2005 installed you should not run into any problems. If you're on Vista, make sure you have admin rights. If you are using a Chinese-based version of Windows, you may need to use a separate installer:

    ftp://supportftp.componentone.com/pub/upload/C1StudioNET2_T307_ChineseOS

    Username: supportftp
    Password: support!&ftp

If the above link does not work you can also try this link:

    ftp://supportftp.componentone.com/pub/C1StudioNET2_T307_ChineseOS.exe

If problems persist I would recommend contacting the support team directly. They can definitely give you a hand.

The issue was that the executable extracted an MSI file. The filename for that file contained a trademark sysmbol ™ that created problems with some versions of windows. The installer linked to above should resolve this.

    Re: Install's Problem

    Hi all,

Most of this has already been said but I just want to wrap everything up.

The issue was that the executable extracted an MSI file. The filename for that file contained a trademark symbol ™ that created problems with some versions of windows. Most notably Chinese, but also Korean. There are fixed installers available:

    ftp://supportftp.componentone.com/pub/upload/C1StudioNET2_T307_ChineseOS (.NET installer)ftp://ftp.componentone.com/supportFTP/public/C1StudioAspNET2_T307_SetupC.exe (ASP.NET installer)ftp://ftp.componentone.com/supportFTP/public/C1StudioMobile2_T307_SetupB.exe (Mobile installer)

    Username: supportftp
    Password: support!&ftp

If you are still getting errors with these installers then it is not the TM symbol and just some “normal” install error like disk space or permissions/UAC or something like that. If that’s the case, please contact our support team directly.

    Re: Install's Problem

I have the same problem. That is, I can't install following setup files such as C1StudioNET2_T307_Setup.exe, C1StudioAspNET2_T307_Setup.exe except C1ActiveXStudio_T3_2007_Setup.exe with same error. I don't have any disk or permission problem in temp folder.

I download c1studioenterprise2_T307.zip file on http://download.componentone.com/pub/Net/c1enterprise/Updates/. Hmm, it still does not working.

    Any suggestion ?

    ps)

I guess that download link is not correct from ftp://supportftp.componentone.com/pub/upload/C1StudioNET2_T307_ChineseOS (.NET installer).

can you give correct link of .NET installer?  I want to try another one.

    Re: Install's Problem

    Hi,

    Here is a corrected link:

    ftp://ftp.componentone.com/SupportFTP/Public/C1StudioNET2_T307_ChineseOS.exe

    Sorry for the mix-up.

    Thanks!
