using scheduled task to automate build

I'm trying to use c1d2hbatch to automate buiding help targets  ... works more or less ok but the scheduled task i created gives:

    "

    D2H:log:Reading project data...
    D2H:log:Compiling...
    D2H:log:Chapter1.doc
D2H:fatal error:63082: Cannot run macro in global template C1D2HEngine.dot. Make sure that C1D2HEngine.dot is checked in the list of global templates in Word, dialog Templates and Add-ins.

    "
the "Run as" user has the Administrator rights but the task itself has to be run when there is no user logged in to the machine...  could this be the reason ?

Does anyone have similar experience and ideas how to solve this ?

    thanks,

    Petr.

Re: using scheduled task to automate build

    Hi,

In this case I would suggest you to copy the *.DOT files as mentioned in the below mentioned steps:

    1. If you are using customized Templates then create a backup of the customized templates which you are currently using. Copy the folder C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data (Hidden Folder) \Microsoft\Templates and save it at a different location as backup.

    2. Next, copy the Templates performing the following steps:

    a) Close Doc-to-Help and any instance of Word. Restart the machine.

    b) Copy the DOT files from
                   C:\Program Files\ComponentOne\DocToHelp\Templates\Startup
        To:
                   C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data (Hidden folder) \Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
                   (Replace all if prompted)
    For VISTA:
                   C:\Program Files\ComponentOne\DocToHelp\Templates\Startup

    To:
                   C:\Users\ USERNAME \App Data (Hidden Folder)\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

    c) Copy the DOT files from
                   C:\Program Files\ComponentOne\DocToHelp\Templates\User
        To:
                   C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data (Hidden Folder) \Microsoft\Templates
                   (Replace all if prompted)

    For VISTA:

    Copy the DOT files from

                   C:\Program Files\ComponentOne\DocToHelp\Templates\User\Word2007

    To:

                   C:\Users\ USERNAME \App Data (Hidden Folder)\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

Also check under the tools and template and add ins that C1D2HEngine.dot have a check mark. Please check the attached screen shot for the same.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Andrew Miller
