Hi,

My company use VB6 and VSPrinter to format a print out with some images and text. The VSPrinter worked great in English and Spanish. Recently we want to support Vietnamese. I read Vietnamese from file into string and use .paragraph function to show the contents( I used the same VSPrinter setting as in English and Spanish, only change the text) . It works fine showing in the screen with VSPrinter control (all characters show correctly). But when I print out using the .PrintDoc fucntion, the print out miss one or two lines of text, and one long paragraph will show up with very small font and cluster to the upper left corner. This happened not only in the Vietnamese , but also in Spanish and English now. Any idea what happen? and do you have any fix? Thanks so much for any help.

P.S. When I try to save as PDF, some Vietnames characters will show "?"

Hello,

Unfortunately it only supports languages that use the Roman alphabet, plus Japanese.  Other alphabets are not supported.  This limitation does NOT apply to the .NET version.  This is a lot more powerful than the ActiveX version.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,

-Steve
