I'm trying to implement the ADO additem function with the drop down grid, but I realized that it facilitate this. What is the equivalent of this functionality? I need to merge three fields into one, this is possible with a combo box, it is also possible with the drop down grid?

 Help will be greatly appreciated

Hello Melodi,

Your requirements are not a bit clear to me. Are you looking to merge three columns in to one for TDBDropDown? If yes, then please note then currently TDBDropDown does not have a functionality to merge a column, however if you are looking to merge the adjecent rows in one columns, then it can be done by using Merge property.

I will appreciate if you can shed more light on your application requirements.

Have a nice day.

Hello James,

Thank you for responding and I'm sorry for my late reply. There was another project that required my urgent attention. I did want to merge multiple columns, but as you stated, the grid does not have that functionality. I guess I will have to look for an alternative measure to get what I want.

Thanks once again.
