Inserting logo / image into html help

    Hi there,

I want to attach a banner to my chm file that contains our company information.  I can edit my theme and use the 'customise'  options to insert a banner in the top centre of my screen, or I can insert it as a background image on the navigation bar.  The first option causes a problem when the chm is compiled - when the screen is sized at the width of the banner it looks brilliant, however as soon as the chm is maximised then you see the whitespace either side of the banner.  Does any one know how I can make the banner always display across the full width of the chm screen (excluding the navigation tree at the left), or automatically resize the banner according to the selected screen size or even determine the default dimensions of the chm itself (therefore I'd set it to always open at the width of the banner)?

Inserting the image as a background image on the navigation bar causes problems as the text (i.e. topic title) covers part of the banner making it unreadable.

     I'd appreciate any suggestions, :)

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

In order to make the banner on the top of navigation bar, I would suggest you to change the Background under the Navigation Bar under the theme editor window.

Under the Background, check the Background Picture under the Picture and change the Background repeat to Horizontal, this will stretch the banner, as under the customized we do not have any other option with the help of which we can modify the position of the banner.

Also I would like to inform you that there is no way with the help of which we can modify the size of the banner so that it can expand and collapse with the size of chm file.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Andrew
