    Vertical Scrolling with Multiple splits

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has come across the below situation and has any solutions.

Scenario: 3 Horizontal Splits, Vertical Scroll bar automatic

Split one: Sized to number of columns and no horizontal scroll bars.

Split two: Sized exact with automatic horizontal scroll bars.

Split three: Sized to number of columns and no horizontal scroll bars.

When there are enough records the vertical scroll bar appears at the end of the grid (as expected), the horizontal scroll bar appears on Split 2 (as expected).  However, when scrolling vertically and the end of the rows are reached, the horizontal scrollbar on split 2 covers the last row.  You can see the data in split 1 and 3, but it will not scroll further to see the row in split 2.

I've tried various different scroll bar combinations, but to get the desired layout none appear to work as desired.  I would expect that when scrolling vertically and all splits would scroll to view the last row, however, this appears not to be the case.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi

I was able to replicate the issue with the new build of C1TDBGrid. I would request you to please post this incident to our support team.

Re: Vertical Scrolling with Multiple splits

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for your reply.

I've posted the incident to your support team as per your request.  But in the mean time are there any work arounds or suggestions to resolve this issue without changing the layout of the what we've defined for the grid.

Currently we are looking at adjusting the vertical off set of the split during the scroll event.  To do that we are scrolling to the bottom of the grid (last split) to capture the current verticaloffset then adding on the size of the horizontal scroll bar hieght of the second split, which gives the desired vertical offset.  Then on the scroll event of the grid when we hit the max scroll position of the last split the vertical offset gets adjusted to the desired vertical offset previously calculated.

Changing the layout at this point is not an option and the above summary description off our solution is a lot of extra work to have the grid scroll as it should.  So if you have any suggestions it would be appreciated.

     Thanks
