    64 Bit Support

We're setting up a new Windows Server 2008 x64 and aim to have it 64-bit front-to-back.  How wil C1 server-side components fit in?  Especially as may pertain to Silverlight.  Thanks...

    Re: 64 Bit Support

     Hi Rob,

We have started the process of testing in 64-bit environments. For now, our controls are built to work with any CPU, so you shouldn't run into too many problems, but if you do encounter any issues, we will be happy to address them.

    Thanks!

    Re: 64 Bit Support

    One thing I do know:

Studio Live Examples crash and burn on 64 bit Vista because C1 designers didn't know enough to work around the Jet OLEDB Provider issue, which is pretty amateurish.  Calling the support desk in India only results in confusion.

We just installed the studio on  an old 32 bit file server so we could remote desktop over if we needed to look at examples.
