name of html document changed - 1.html or 2.html

    Hi,

There are some links not longer working in the online help tool.

The screen names and the document names used to correspond, but now some html document names changed: for example from 'generalbehaviour.html' to 'generalbehaviour1.html'.

This is probably why the links in the .NET framework are not longer working...

What can be the reaseon / solution?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Koen

    Hi,

Since the name of the document is changed from 'generalbehaviour.html' to 'generalbehaviour1.html' so this is the reason that the links are not working.

If we are using the hyperlinks or  any other link, they works on the memory reference of the destination link and if in any case we change the name of the destination link, the links will stop working.

The reason behind this behavior is that when we call a particular link it addresses to its name and its location from its memory and if any of these things are changes the call procedure will fail.

Solution to this is to recreate the link so that the link which is called can be located in its memory.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a nice day.

    Regards,
