Web Calendar and Web Schedule

I have a web calendar inside of a web topic bar ... the web schedule objects lives outside of the web topic. I have the "Web Schedule" property set ot the name of the web schedule object. My problem is that the schedule will not change when I choose a date on the web calendar ... if i move the calendar outside of the web topic it works fine. Whats the syntax for getting this right OR do I need client script to force it ??

Please try the sample attached and then let me know your observation. If the Problem still persists then I would request you to please send me a small sample that replicates this issue.
