Hi.

I have SQL database. I fetch some rows from it. One of the columns in this database - file extension. But I dont need to write extension in my C1TrueDBGrid. Instead this I need to show icon of this file extension. May I redefine some methods of the C1DataSet or something else to customize fill algoritm?

Hi,

You don't have to redefine any methods. Use the value translation feature
of the C1TrueDBGrid. Open truedbgrid's designer, select the file extension
column, then click the "..." button after the ValueItems property. Here you
should check the Translate checkbox, then fill out the ValueItems collection.
