 I'm running DemoWorks 2007.1.0.3 and having many stability problems.  For no obvious reason the application crashes many times per day and from time to time will simply start looping (I assume) until the system runs out of memory. When looking at TaskManager the Demoworks process just continues to eat memory. It is like stopping the capture just didn't.

I'm running on an IBM Thinkpad notebook with lots of memory and XP/SP2.

In any case, I'm wondering if anyone else is having these types of issues, are there any updates available/planned. At the moment the product is mostly unusable for me.

You should be able to download this product from our download page. http://www.componentone.com/Downloadcenter.aspx

Please try the new version to see if this improves the issue any.

I'm having stability issues as well.  I have ver 2007.1.0.5 installed on a Vista platform and can not get the Demo Preview to function correctly.  When I click the icon on the DemoWorks Toolbar, I get a Demo Preview start menu item but the Preview window does not appear.  I can't get the sound to play back either. It works fine if I compile the project using any of the available methods but without playback capability, editing is virtually impossible.  Any suggestions?

Okay, I found the problem with the preview is that it was appearing completely off-screen.  I was finally able to move it into a viewable position.  I'm still unable to get the sound to play back until it is compiled.  What's the trick to that?  Thank you.

Sometimes Vista [accidentally] mutes the Demoworks preview window.   I'm not sure how or why it does that, but all you have to do is go to your desktop volume settings, select Mixer, and unmute the Demoworks preview window.

I've attached a picture to show what i'm talking about.
