D2H7 - Fonts in C1H_Help template not applied to generated WinHelp file

I createad a new project and used an existing source file (done in the same version of D2H).    All the paragraph styles seem to be correct in the generated Help file.  The only thing that is not correct is the font.  The font in the generated Help file does not match the font in the C1H_Help template.  Suggestions?

    Hi,

I would suggest you to check the template of Doc-To-Help that you have used before as it is still assigned to your help target. May the template is no longer at its assigned value.

One thing that I want to bring in your notice is that if you are generating the Winhelp file then the problem could be due to the Microsoft update. If this is the said scenario then please note that earlier there has been an update for WinHelp from Microsoft. The update number is KB917334. This update is a Microsoft bug introduced by the Security Update for Word 2003 in June 2006 (KB917334). It's not really related to D2H.

Alsoin addition to that in order to modify the styles in the template I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below as sometimes the styles are not applied to the template properly:

    1. Open Doc-To-Help and click on the Project icon on the left pane.

    2. Click on the Templates in the middle pane and open C1_HELP.DOT from the Top right pane.

    3. Click on the Format in the File menu and from the drop down select the Styles and Formating.

4.From the Styles and formating task pane on the right side select Body Text and clcik on the drop down corresponding to the body text and from the drop down select the modify option.

    5. From the Modify style window select the font to Verdana.

    6. Save the changes and close the template.

    8. Click on the Help Target in the middle pane of doc-to-help window and select the desider help target from the upper right window.

    9. In the property pane select the template under the mics and select the same template under the prject settings of d2h.

    10. Rebuild the project (Build|rebuild)

    I hope this helps.

    Have a nice day.

    Regards,

    Andrew
