    Incorrect column count returned

I have an Excel 2003 spreadsheet that contains data in only the first 6 columns and 19 rows of the first sheet. The data in the entire first row is Chinese.. Using C1XLBook.Sheet(0).Columns.Count it is returning 256. Row.Count is returning the correct value though not all data in each row is Chinese, it is a mix of Chinese and English. I tried deleting columns and resaving the file but saw no change. If I copy the data into a new spreadsheet it works as it should and I get the correct count. Are there any known issues that can cause this? It is not possible for me to control the Excel files that are being imported into my application so I have to assume this could happen again. Is there anything I can identify about the spreadsheet that could cause C1Excel to not read the column count correctly?

    Hello Steve,

Hope you are doing good. Steve, can your please let me know which version of which version of C1XLBook you are using? If you could provide a small sample which can replicate the issue that would be great.

    Awaiting your response.

    Have a nice day.
